We believe transparency builds trust. Here's everything you might want to know.
Yes, completely and permanently. Ablooma charges therapists $19/month to be listed on the platform. Patients will never be charged — not for the questionnaire, not for matching, not for intro calls, and not for any feature. This is a core principle that will never change.
The questionnaire takes about 3 minutes. You'll see your matched therapists immediately after completing it. From there, you can watch intro videos and book an intro call at any available time slot — many therapists have same-week availability.
That's completely normal. You can retake the questionnaire anytime with updated preferences, and you'll get fresh matches. You can also adjust specific criteria (like insurance, location, or availability) without starting over. Finding the right therapist sometimes takes a few tries — there's no limit on matching.
Yes. Every therapist profile shows their license type (LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, etc.), states licensed, years of experience, education, and any specialized certifications. We verify all licenses at onboarding before any profile goes live.
Think of it as a chemistry check. You'll meet via video (or phone if you prefer), ask questions, and get a feel for whether this person is someone you'd trust. The therapist might ask about your goals. There's no clinical assessment, no diagnosis, and no obligation to continue. If they're not the right fit, you simply go back to your matches.
Your data is encrypted end-to-end using AES-256 encryption on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. Therapists see only a curated match profile based on your responses — never your raw questionnaire answers. We never sell data to third parties. You can download or permanently delete all your data anytime through settings. We're fully GDPR and CCPA compliant.
We match you with therapists who accept your specific insurance plan. During the questionnaire, you'll enter your insurance provider and plan type. Our matching algorithm prioritizes therapists who accept your insurance, and each profile shows copay estimates and self-pay rates so there are no surprises.
$19/month. That's the only cost — no per-referral fees, no revenue sharing, no hidden charges. You get listed on the platform, receive matched client referrals, and manage your intro calls all through your Ablooma dashboard.
Onboarding takes about 10 minutes. You'll enter your credentials, select your specialties and modalities, record a 60–90 second intro video, set your availability, and list the insurance panels you accept. We verify your license before your profile goes live, which typically takes 1–2 business days.
Clients who have already invested thought into what they need. Because they've completed a deep questionnaire, they come to the intro call with clarity about their goals and an understanding of your approach — they've already watched your video. Therapists on Ablooma report significantly higher conversion rates and lower no-show rates compared to other referral sources.
Yes. You set a monthly new-client capacity in your dashboard. When you've reached your capacity, you'll stop appearing in new match results until you open up slots. You can also pause your listing anytime without canceling your subscription.
No. Ablooma is a matchmaking platform that connects patients with independent licensed therapists. We do not provide therapy, diagnosis, or clinical treatment of any kind. All therapists on the platform are independent practitioners who run their own practices.
If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a crisis, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911 right now. Ablooma is not a crisis service. Our questionnaire includes safety screening — if you indicate you're in immediate danger, we will redirect you to emergency resources before anything else.
Ablooma is currently available nationwide for online therapy matches. For in-person therapy, availability depends on therapist locations in your area. We're expanding rapidly — if there aren't many in-person options near you today, there likely will be soon.
