Everyday access
What Deaf and hard-of-hearing people actually use.
This page is about daily life: the tools, services, and organizations people rely on outside the therapy room. How communication access works in therapy itself, the three access tiers, is on Accessibility.
How this list is built
Being built with the community. Nothing is listed yet.
An entry appears here only after Deaf and hard-of-hearing people say it belongs. Ablooma does not add entries on its own, and payment cannot earn a place. Where a listed entry involves a commercial relationship, that is stated beside the entry, and it never affects where the entry appears.
Captioning and accessibility technology
Live captioning, caption phones, alerting devices, and the hardware that makes sound visible.
Nothing is listed under captioning and accessibility technology yet. Entries are added only after Deaf and hard-of-hearing people say they belong.
Interpreter services
Agencies, video remote interpreting, and how to request a qualified interpreter.

Three rules that do not change
Community trust is never for sale.
- Community vetting decides inclusion.
- Payment alone can never earn a recommendation. An entry is listed only while the community says it belongs.
- Any commercial relationship is stated with the entry.
- Beside the entry, in plain words, visible without clicking anything.
- Ordering is by relevance and vetting only.
- Commission, partner tier, and payment status are never inputs to where something appears, and the code that orders this list refuses to see them.
